It is a beautiful day--70 degrees and breezy...clear, blue skies--major pay-off for the 120 degree temperatures possible in a few months. Just wanted to post a few silly pictures of the kids mostly for grandparents but maybe a giggle for others as well.
My mom and dad brought us a bumper crop of beautiful lemons and grapefruit from their yard in Green Valley. I enjoyed squeezing and freezing the delicious lemons and Leia and I dug in full force into the grapefruit--yummm! Makes me think of Weird Al's song, "Grapefruit Diet". I posted the lyrics because they are TOO FUNNY! (sorry for the fat jokes, but being overweight, I figured it was politically correct to post it!) (sung to the tune of "Zoot Suit Riot")

Awesome lyrics, now I have to go to youtube to hear it! I heard 1 grapefruit each meal can really help in loosing weight and keep those cold symptoms away. I think I need a grapefruit tree in my yard:))) Mmmmmmm grapefruit!

ReplyDeleteYou make me laugh!!! I think that I have eaten about 3 grapefruits a day for the last two weeks. I throughly enjoyed it, but it is probably good that they are all gone now. I don't know if I lost any weight, but I did get some sores on my tongue. Does that cound for anything?
I hope you have a great day and give the kids a hug for me. The pictures are adorable I can't believe how fast everyone is growing up!
